Birth Doula

Originally from the Oregon coast, I moved to Arizona three years ago in search of sunshine and new opportunities. With a BS in Cell and Molecular Biology, I have a strong background in scientific research and a passion for staying updated on emerging studies. My journey to becoming a labor doula stems from a deep commitment to improving women's health, particularly in the realm of childbirth. I am CAPPA-trained and currently working towards my certification. Outside of my doula work, I enjoy hiking with my dog, diving into a good book, and exploring my creative side through knitting and learning to crochet.

My approach to doula work is rooted in empowerment and education. I believe that every parent should feel informed and confident in making choices about their birth experience. I am dedicated to providing information-based care, ensuring that my clients have a solid knowledge foundation to navigate the complexities of hospital decision-making processes. For me, the most rewarding aspect of being a doula is fostering a sense of support, safety, and capability in my clients during one of the most intimate and significant times in their lives. I am excited to help serve the community and support families in creating positive and empowering birth experiences.
