Diane Thomas - Phoenix
Birth & Postpartum Doula
Hi, my name is Diane. I’m a wife, a mom, and a grandmother. Being a doula is something I’ve always wanted to do, so after I retired, I looked into what I had to do to be the best doula I could be. I love the whole birthing process and feel blessed to be able to advocate for women and give positive and encouraging support before, during, and after birth.
Every woman should have the opportunity to have a doula at their birth and to help them prepare for their birth, to advise, inform, and offer emotional and physical support.Â
Postpartum recovery is just as important. I can give you tips and encouragement on how to prepare for life at home with your new baby. I have many years of postpartum care and love visiting and helping once you bring baby home.
The knowledge and training that we receive and provide as doulas are irreplaceable, available, and should be shared with expectant moms. No one should have to give birth unprepared. I can be your coach to help you reach your goal of an exceptional birth experience.
I believe that the more movement mom has will help with her labor. I've taken Spinning Babies classes and feel it's important to add these exercises and positions to my client’s life. I'm beginning to learn more about The Body Ready Method (BRM) and can help with exercises and movement prenatal to get you ready for birth and postpartum to help with your recovery. I feel it's very important to prep with these in your back pocket before you go into labor, for a shorter birth and a better birth experience. Â
I can help you with some of most important days of your life!
